Trevor Applebee is a complementary therapist having studied Rebirthing/Breathwork, Kinesiology and Reiki. Trevor and Wendy also own a successful family business that they established in 1982. In 2004 Trevor’s younger brother was suffering deep depression and his family asked Trevor to help him heal. Trevor was looking for some answers on how a person could get so low in life when Wendy introduced him to a friend who is a Rebirther/Breathworker. Rebirthing not only assisted Trevor in understanding his brothers journey it profoundly helped him understand his families own life journey and challenges, especially around Trevor and Wendy’s daughter Toni who in 1981 had a challenging illness that left her with dis-ABILITIES. Trevor began a new direction in life, becoming a professional Rebirther in 2005 completing his first studies the following year; Trevor then went on to also become a Kinesiologist and Reiki practitioner after realising the benefits they had for Toni. Rebirthing/Breathwork has evolved into a major part of Trevor’s life and practice, he is now furthering his studies by taking on the challenge of becoming a Rebirthing/Breathwork teacher. Trevor is an avid reader of many subjects including, consciousness, quantum physics, energy healing and is always excited when he finds a new book or old book, DVD or cd. Trevor and Wendy live in Mawson Lakes in a purpose built home they designed for their life as carers for Toni and have recently built on a therapy room and meditation garden, creating a wonderful environment for teaching, learning and healing. It is Trevor’s intention to continue to learn, teach and practice the complementary therapies of Rebirthing/Breathwork, Kinesiology and Reiki, so people can also experience the wonder of each moment of life as it unfolds with more fulfilment and understanding than ever before. Trevor is involved with several community awareness groups around the experience of a family with a child that needs lifelong fulltime care.
